Benesh International BenMove at the Conservatoire national
supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (CNSMDP).
The Congress is open to anyone interested in Benesh
Movement Notation (BMN), movement notation and analysis
in general, transmission and preservation of choreographic
works, and practices related to movement, pedagogy,
and research in dance and the performing arts.
You are invited to meet professional notators from several countries :
→ Enrolled in international dance companies
→ Teaching in universities and for the Benesh International (BI)
→ Working as freelance in different fields like contemporary
creation, circus, traditional dances, pedagogy…
Artists, dancers, choreographers, teachers, researchers in
dance and in different fields are also attending the Congress,
as well as students currently in training at CNSMDP and BI.
On the evening of Wednesday 5th July, Centre Benesh will organise a dinner in a restaurant close to the CNSMDP.
The fifth day (Saturday 8th July) will bring together BMN practitioners (students and professionals) present at the Congress for a BMN Convention at the Centre National de la Danse (CN D).
